Rain Day

It rained today so I was able to do some work inside.

I got all the applique pieces ready for the June "Granny's Hankie" and "Hop to It" BOM's, they just need the seam allowances pressed onto the freezer paper. We are doing block #12 of the "Hop to It" book for those participating.

We have been having great weather, and I have been spending lots of time outside.

Seedlings are starting to sprout in the garden.

There have been so many baby birds around.

Perennials have started blooming,

These irises come from our first house and we always bring some to each new house (this is our fifth house), they have never looked so good, I guess this is their favorite spot.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

I was wondering if you knew the name of the first flower you have pictured? I have alot of them and I don't know what they are called. They were here when we moved in and I give them away to people but no name. I enjoy your blog. You always get so much done. Have a good day. Lisa

It is nice to have a rainy day to play inside. No guilt there!!!

The flowers look so pretty and that baby bird looks so fluffy!

We badly need a rain day here. Haven't had rain in a good while now. A rainy day is always a good day to stay inside and stitch happily away the day.

Great to catch up with what you are up to. We too are having a very welcome rainy spell. Thanks for the reminder about Grannys Hankys. Have that saved too. My Hop To It Book arrived during the week - but I have no hope of getting to many things at present.
Busy with my Photoshope lessons - when I have some mometns to myself...and thats about all I can manage for now. :)
