Friday Night Sew-In Results

I had lots of fun sewing last night (not my usual time to sew!). I finished sewing two more blocks for the quilt along.

Today I went on a "Shop Hop" to four quilt stores. It was a beautiful day for a drive in the country (sorry to say I forgot my camera, so no pictures). I was pretty restrained until -

At the last store I found fabric (yeah!!) for the alternating squares on the quilt along quilt . It is all by Kansas Troubles. It has been a few years since I participated in a "Shop Hop" and I had forgotten how much fun they are!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!

Yummy fabrics...and I love both blocks for the quilt along. I am saving the directions so I can make the blocks as soon as I finish the quilt I am working on.

I have chosen colors for the quilt along and have started to sort and set aside fabric. I really MUST finish the other quilt alongs, or get caught up, first, but I am trying really hard. Oh, color scheme is blue, green, brown. I think for my son. We'll see.

PS--I LOVE the Friday Night Sew In.

This next block is so pretty! I finished up the first one yesterday. Thanks so much for doing this. I'm a rookie quilter and this is a perfect way for me to experience a variety of different blocks.

Love the fabrics you picked! Will we be doing the alternating blocks along with the others? Just curious as to how soon I need to pick those up. Can't seem to find anything appropriate in my stash.
