I am glad to be piecing again.
This is Winding Ways cut with the GO!. The pieces go together so well and it has been lots of fun to sew. This is about a quarter of the quilt, and it should be about 94" square when it is finished. The blocks are almost 8".
I have decided to have the edges of the quilt follow the curves of the blocks (well, really they are half blocks along the edge).
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!♥

So pretty!!! I love the way the fabrics shade in and out of one another. Then the white fabric looks really cool. I like that the outer edge of the quilt will follow the curve of the design. It's going to be gorgeous!!
It's a beauty!
Beautiful! Makes me think of mangoes, palm trees and tropical breezes!
Gorgeous!! Great colour movent and the border will be a great finish. (Another big quilt....?!)
Oops I meant 'movement'!

Very lovely. I see you aren't following your son's suggestion of making smaller quilts! Hee Hee!
That is just gorgeous!
I think that is a great idea to leave the outside edge with the curve. Brilliant!! This is going to be a beautiful quilt, I look forward to seeing how you quilt it :)
It is very pretty, but your post title should be, "back to piecing another big quilt" Your son is going to go on quilt holding strike..hehehe.
blessings, jilly
Love the colors you are using... oranges are my fav, along with red. Yours are yummy.

I am so intrigued with the Winding ways pattern. I really want to do one... Love yours and I would do the curvy border too.
