Finished Table Runner

I finished weaving the table runner.

Here it is fresh off the loom (it did take longer to weave than to put the warp on the loom, but still very quick). It was lots of fun to weave - I really enjoy weaving and should try to do it more often. The treadling sequence for this pattern was easy to follow, and it was easy to figure out where I was in the pattern - always a bonus.

I twisted the fringe to finished the runner off. It was made with commercial yarn for the warp and the tabby weft (the dark red), and the handspun yarn I spun on New Year's Eve for the overshot weft (the gold). All the weaving details and lots of photos can be found on my Ravelry project page.

It ended up being about 16" wide by 51" long, 61" with the fringe.

All the best!♥︎
