Finished Socks

Mainly I have been knitting away on a sweater (I think it will make a nice spring jacket, and spring here lasts about 20 minutes, so I want to make sure I will be able to wear it when that happens). Sleeves are knit and I am about half way down the body.

I did finish a pair of socks made from handspun. This was my take-along/waiting room knitting - so simple, two-at-a-time, 64 stitches, top-down socks.

Now for the photos of our surroundings-

A fox was captured on the trail cam!

And fox prints in the fresh, hard packed snow.

This past weekend we had some snow on Saturday, then blue skies and 50km/hr winds on Sunday, which made for some interesting changes in the landscape-

windy and clear skies

In the above photo you can see the blowing snow, and to the left the top of a 6' high shed, the drift on the left must be 7-8' high!

The cat still likes to come for a walk -

 All the best!♥︎
